Wednesdays - 6:00pm - 8:00pm
The class is open to all skill levels students. Students will have the opportunity to grow their skills and confidence as Kimberly walks the class through a variety of planned and self-directed projects. The focus on cylinders will include projects such as jars with lids, crocks and utensil holders.
Activating both sides of the studio, Marsha will walk students through adding, hand-built attachments to wheel-thrown forms! This session will cover a plethora of techniques and showcase ways to add a little more pizazz to functional wares
Students enrolled in the class will be encouraged to alter the pots they make with hand-built components such as slabs and coils. These additions can serve as layered texture and provide different functions for the pots being made throughout the course. Want to learn how to make a handle, spout or add textured decoration? This class is perfect for you!
