Discover the art of hand-Building in clay in this immersive hands-on class designed for beginners through advanced, learn essential techniques such as coil, slab and pinch construction to shape unique ceramic pieces without the use of a porter's wheel.
Wednesday 2:00-4:00
Students of all levels are welcome to join this class. Different methods of constructing works from clay will be covered to achieve a variety of results. These methods include but are not limited to coil-built, slab-built, and pinched pots. Experienced students will continue to develop their own skills and processes with assistance from the instructor.
While Marsha enjoys different methods of alternative firing, she will focus more on demonstrating how to make different shapes and textures to provide contrast during this session.
