Now Hiring:
Studio Manager
Part Time 25-30 Hours Per Week
DESCRIPTION:
The Wellsville Creative Arts Center is a community arts center offering art classes for adults, teens, and kids in ceramics, drawing and painting, music, and cooking - with ceramics being our most popular. The studios are in our building’s basement, which is located on Main Street in Wellsville, NY. On our main floor we have a coffee shop/restaurant where we host rotating art exhibits, live music, open mic nights, team trivia nights, and other community based events. Also on our main floor is the Little Gem Artisan Gallery, which is a shop featuring the work of many local artists and craftspeople.
We are looking for an energetic and self-motivating individual with an interest in arts administration and management to join our team at the Wellsville Creative Arts Center. The person in this position will work closely with the teachers and students to successfully manage the arts programming and studios. The Studio and Programming Manager must also maintain excellent communication with and coordinate with the Cafe Manager to ensure that both the studio and cafe events and programming can run parallel to each other.
The Wellsville Creative Arts Center exists to enhance the quality of life for the people in our community. Its purpose is to provide high quality education in the arts, entertaining and creative programming, and a venue for a wide range of cultural and community activities. The Arts Center functions through the collaborative efforts of dedicated employees, volunteers and supporters. Having just celebrated our 10th anniversary, we have become an important facet of the Wellsville community.
