Anne Currier makes art that converges different perspectives to create a cohesive composition, and her ceramic forms are often mapped-out through drawings. This workshop will showcase different ways she manipulates clay slabs to effectively translate these 2D drawings into 3D form. Throughout her career, Currier has been known to juxtapose flat images with geometric forms, creating a relationship between the different mediums. Live demonstrations and conversation during the workshop will encourage an interactive experience and provide time to ask Currier about her art practice.
